Biography

Well hello there,

I welcome you to my blog! :) Hopefully you didn’t just come across it accidentally, and however found it via a direct search for “The sexiest god damn man alive!”… Ok, you may have already realized that I have a pretty ridiculous ego. But don’t hold it against me, for the most part I just talk a big game haha. I’m actually not a pompous jackass – I promise.

This all first started as a way to promote myself more as a fighter. I have been competing professionally in mixed martial arts since 2007. But have kinda lost my passion for it. Back when I first started, nobody know what MMA was, and they looked even more confused if I brought up the UFC. Oh those were the good old days. Now it’s become a lifestyle – a bunch of pansy ass bitches wandering around in Tapout and Affliction shirts, trying to give themselves cauliflower ear by themselves in the bathroom at home (probably while simultaneously telling themselves how tough they are). I slowly started to hate even bringing up the fact that I fight, for the sheer fear of having some jackass dive right into a story about how he’s been training for a few months now and hopes to fight soon. I still fight, however it’s much less about the passion for me now. Actually not sure why I still fight at all, for the most part I can’t stand it, yet somehow I always get drawn back in damn it.

My current passion, oddly enough started as a way to help my fighting performance, is lifting. Now if you’re sitting there imagining me walking around town randomly liftingthings, I think it’d be best if you just left my blog now, before one of us get hurt… (PS. It ain’t gonna be me ;) haha). By lifting I mean weights of course. For strength, for size, whatever – it’s all good baby. I can’t get enough of it! I love it so much so, that what used to be the only logical job that would allow me to fulfill my ridiculous training schedule – Personal Training – has now become a HUGE interest of mine. It’s my own thirst for knowledge, and my admittedly school-girl giddinesson the subject, that makes me the kickass trainer I am.

*That was not pompous – that was totally factual! I am a sweet trainer, ask anybody :P

I pretty much never stop looking up new ways to force the human body to adapt into something better: bigger, faster, stronger, leaner, etc. If I really think back, I could probably trace all of this back to my childhood hero… The Incredible Hulk. I was never a big comic book geek by any means, but man did I love the Hulk. To this day I still have one hell of a man-crush on that green son of a bitch. He’s basically everything I want to be in life. Everything. haha.

So, in some way, shape or form that leads me to what my blog has now become. Not so much a form of promotion (however if it gets me some recognition as a strength coach, or maybe fight sponsorship, or a handful of clients – fucken a!), but more as a way to chronical my life as a lifting guinea pig. Here I’ll keep a somewhat updated log of my workouts (can’t have it completely updated, need to get you bastards hooked first, then you can pay me for the good stuff ;) like a good crack dealer haha), see what programs I’m trying out, what new principals I’m incorporating, and by far the best part – my thoughts (or more so ramblings) on life.

I’m sure you can tell already that I’ve got a bit of ADD, mixed in with a little bit of ego-centrism, and a hint of insanity. So you damn well know at the very least you can look forward to a good laugh from time to time. So I encourage you to follow my blog, and for the love of god leave a comment every now and then! I feel so lonely otherwise, like I’m talking to a bloody wall! :)
